I never had a female dog before. I definitely never had a female dog that had her period.

Talk about PMS. It appears that female dogs go just as bannanas as the rest of us females during our menstrual period. Joy, oh Joy! CUJO is putting it lightly.

Thank goodness it only happens twice a year. Dogs unlike can get hysterectomies if they want to stop having periods. Females are not so lucky. Doctors won't do a hysterectomy unless there is a medical reason. Funny, that women don't have control over their own bodies.
